Is there an option to not have them at all? I don't see what value they'd add that isn't already covered by being able to upvote or downvote a solution? If they awarded rep then maybe I could see value in the "Works for me" one if it awarded twice the rep - a way of awarding a bounty to a solution until we get a proper bounty system.

Shaggy‭ it is possible to not use reactions at all, yes -- mods can disable all of them. Currently the "react" control still shows up, but I've filed an issue to fix that.
