The profile link is only relevant for claiming imported content at the moment. When we import content from SE, linking profiles allows us to give users the option of claiming their posts - thus licensing the post directly to us, which means we don't have to credit SE for that particular post.

Since Code Golf didn't import any content, there's no associated SE site. Linking your SE account really does nothing when there's been no imported content and so there's no option for doing it. You're free to include links to your SE profile or whatever in your Codidact profile, though!
