Should sandbox posts give rep?

Should sandbox posts give rep? On one hand, keeping this feature motivates more people to use the sandbox. On the other hand, allowing people to gain rep twice for the same content seems wrong in some way. What does everyone think?

Update: we can do this more easily now. We can change the reputation grants per post type per category, both up and down, without creating a new post type. Sandbox posts would continue to use the Article post type, but would now grant whatever numbers y'all tell us to plug in.

Reputation from existing posts would be recalculated to use the new values (possibly after a delay). This will affect people with existing sandbox posts; I haven't looked to see who has a lot of sandbox posts, but the maximum upvotes right now on any single one is three, so with luck this wouldn't be too disruptive.

Please discuss and let us know what you'd like to do when you're ready. I'm happy to answer questions.

Resolution: at the request of a moderator based on discussion and voting here, I've just pushed this button:

Sandbox rep: up 0, down 0

As noted earlier, when the next reputation recalculation runs, people with existing sandbox posts will see their reps change.

Do sandboxed posts still give rep?

This is a bit embarrassing, but I can't tell if sandboxed posts still give rep, since I don't get a notification for reputation here like I would Somewhere Else. However, I'm about 70% sure I got rep off of a draft in the Sandbox, so if they do still give rep, could that be turned off any time soon?

user‭ sandbox posts do give rep currently. We can turn that off entirely or lower the value or whatever the Code Golf community wants us to do. I'm hoping y'all will use this meta question to determine what that consensus is. When the community has decided, a mod can ping us and we'll make the change.

I see. Does Corsaka's answer count as a consensus? It's got 5 upvotes and no downvotes, and there aren't any answers that advocate for giving rep.

I pinged Quintec. The moderators are better able to evaluate the community's sentiment (what counts as "enough", etc) than I am.
